What is a squat
A squat is a temporary space where artists, musicians, theater makers, performers and other creative people create art in an unusual, abandoned place. In our case, this place is an abandoned pioneer camp.
This is not a festival or an ordinary exhibition. There is no usual stage, rows of chairs, food court, security or ready-made infrastructure. Instead, there is a territory that participants fill with art, music, performances, meetings and communication for several days.
The main thing about a squat is not just to watch, but to be part of what's happening: explore the space, meet people, discover new forms of art.
Important to know
- Each visitor is personally responsible for their own safety
- The camp territory is abandoned — please be careful

Theme: "At the Bottom"
The theme of the squat was born from the place itself. The main object of the camp is a large abandoned pool. It was once filled with water, people, movement and noise. Now it is empty. It has a color — it is blue. And wonderful acoustics.
We will literally be at its bottom: placing works there, holding performances, meetings, concerts and shows.
Once at the bottom, a person begins to see things differently. There is nothing left to lose, but there is an opportunity to look around, rethink what is happening and start something anew.
An abandoned pool is a powerful image. It is empty, but it is this emptiness that gives room for new meanings.
